Temporalis Tendon Transfer (T3) Post op experience

Hi all,

I had a T3 and am about 1 month post op.

I know everyone heals differently, but was wondering how your process was 1 month vs 6 months - 1 year.

Did you see results immediately? How did your smile change through this time period.

Did you do physiotherapy to help retrain and utilize biting down to smile?

I have an appointment for a post op visit and wanted to hear first hand how other patients have healed as I am not sure how I am doing post surgery.

I have trouble opening my mouth still and biting down to create a smile. My cheek feels tight still when I speak. If any of you felt this, about how long until the feeling went away?
