Does anyone know if you can have a second gamma knife surgery?

Here is what i have heard.

For  CyberKnife vs GK - a big factor is the radiation long term, so factors such as dose and age play in. There are also considerations such as (if regrowth) position, size, cystic vs not, and preference.

Others may have additional insight.  its a good idea to think a few steps forward, to know what the options are if a particular treatment doesn't stop future growth.

I just had GK 6 months ago and I asked that very question and my Neurosurgeon said it is possible but we weren't going to talk about that now.  I felt like from that statement he was confident his treatment would work.  But it is a very valid question.   Look forward to seeing responses and if anyone has had GK twice.  I am in several Facebook groups for AN and I may just ask that question and see what the responses are.
