18 months after 1st MRI and no growth

Hi All, I was diagnosed with a small acoustic neuroma, about 3 to 4 mm in size, in July 2016. I had a follow up MRI in Jan 2017, and another just last week. There was no growth since the first MRI, so I'm pretty happy about that and am feeling lucky. 

I'm not sure it made a difference, but I did take small doses of aspirin (breaking 1 regular pill into 4ths, so about 81 mg) on a daily basis, usually at night before bed. Of course I'm on this regimen because of the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary study (Kandathil CK, Dilwali S, Wu C. et al. Aspirin Intake Correlates with Halted Growth of Sporadic Vestibular Schwannoma In Vivo. Otology & Neurotology 35:353-357, 2014.)

Congratulations on the MRI results.
The aspirin regimen may hold promise for some.
Watch and wait with small tumors has its own set of challenges.
Some of those challenges aren't always appreciated or understood. It takes patience to wait.
It's good for newly diagnosed people to see that with a small tumor they have some time before treatment if so desired.
