How much does facial reanimation surgery cost
« on: February 03, 2018, 08:16:43 pm »
Hello there everyone!

I wanted to ask how much more or less does the facial reanimation surgeries cost?
The T3 procedure with Dr.Bryne '? and how abot with Dr. Azzizzadeh?

I am thinking of getting surgery done just to restore facial symmetry ( lift the corner of my mouth).
I have had a couple of facial reanimation surgeries done but none improved my facial symmetry.

I am saving up money for this op so that i have a slight idea of how much this might cost.

Thanksss

Hi Stephanie -

Bottom line is that you are going to have to see the surgeonto get a fix on the cost of the operation.  Mine was in the neighborhood 0f $20K, but my insurance covered most of it.  My surgery was the gracilis flap transfer to my cheek, so it was a bit more complicated than a simple change to a facial element... at least, that's my thinking! I can heartily recommend Johns Hopkins - that's where Dr Byrne is, I believe.  I had my surgery there with Dr Boahene and it was very successful.

Best of luck to you, and keep us posted!
