Numb tongue and feeling of pressure at throat and chest
« on: April 12, 2017, 10:03:11 pm »
I'm almost 2 years post op, middle fossa operation for a 1 cm tumor.  My tongue was numb after surgery and my doctor told me it would be back to normal within a year at most.  Almost 2 years later, the front half of my tongue is still numb and affects the way things taste - everything is sweeter.  Has anyone had a numb tongue as long as I have that eventually resolved?  Also, about 8 weeks post op, I started experiencing a pressure at my throat and chest making me feel like I couldn't breathe normally.  This happens often, almost daily.  Has anyone else experienced anything like this after having an AN surgery?

Hi there, I am only 1 week post op (6 days actually) and I have a weird taste thing going on too. Mine is not sweet though, that would be much better. I have a metallic tinny taste. Yuck.
