Thanks all especially Cheryl. Very helpful. I have been covering since surgery why still so dry. How was the recovery from the tar? My doctor uses a local and sedation at the hosp out pat. Not happy. Thanks Joan

Nothing to the recovery.  I had a black eye for a couple of days, and kept ice on/off it for a day (bag of frozen peas, actually).  Mine was also outpatient.  One doctor I saw wanted to do it in his office.  Like you, I was wary - but I think it is a very common, pretty simple procedure.  I definitely can say this on this side of it; before I was very hesitant and anxious.  (As are many issues of the unknown with having an AN :o )

Many thanks. I saw dr today. Said not worse which is good but not better. Having tar procedure feb 8.
