 "Dealing with the New Normal"
Thursday, September 24, 2015
12 pm ET, 11 am CT, 10 am MT, 9 am PT

Presented by:
ANA Board Members and Acoustic Neuroma Patients
John Gigliello  --  David Puzzo  --  Chad Nye

We are very excited to kick-off our 2015 fall webinar series by welcoming both ANA members and non-members to participate in a special upcoming FREE live webinar!  Our topics are designed to cover key areas of interest relevant to AN patients, family and friends with plenty of time for questions and answers.

We are pleased to offer our second patient-driven webinar featuring a panel presentation and discussion of the "new normal" for post-treatment acoustic neuroma patients. This webinar will feature AN patients and ANA board members who will share their stories and tell you about their "new normal" experiences. Our speakers represent all three treatment options, providing their perspective in dealing with issues related to acoustic neuroma.

No matter what treatment decision you make, every patient's journey is unique and can sometimes be difficult. Life has changed and for some, this can be a very tough transition. You may be dealing with issues such as single-sided deafness, balance, problems with facial and eye muscles, headaches, depression or other types of difficult mental and physical changes in your life and you are not alone.

Whether you are newly diagnosed or years post-op, please plan to join us for this very informative session.

Webinar FAQs

Q: How do I register for an upcoming ANA Webinar?
A: ANA sends an email with registration details about three weeks before the live webinar presentation. Most webinars are FREE to ANA members, but our "New Normal" webinar is available to everyone. If you are not currently a member of ANA,  please click now to join or renew your membership.

Q: When is the live presentation?
A: The live webinar will take place on Thursday, September 24th at 12 PM Eastern time, 11 AM Central time, 10 AM Mountain time and at 9 AM Pacific time.

Q: Can I participate from anywhere?
A: Yes. All you need is a good internet connection (good enough to watch a YouTube video, for example) and the link in your confirmation email.  It should be noted that some places of business have firewalls that prevent employees from accessing this type of event.  If that happens, the webinar will be accessible as a recording and available on the ANA website.

Q: How long will the presentation be?
A: The actual presentation will last approximately 30-35 minutes following a short introduction.  After that, we'll do a Q&A session lasting about 20 minutes. The entire webinar will last one hour.

Q: Will the presentation be recorded?
A: Yes, those that cannot attend on Thursday will be able to access a recorded version (audio and slides) on the ANA website about 1 week after the presentation. That recording can be viewed at any time.

Q: How do I ask questions?
A: You can send them to communications@ANAUSA.org before the presentation or use the question feature on your webinar dashboard, which will be active once you sign into the webinar, to ask questions during the webinar.
