To all my ANA NYC chapter buddies,

Fantastic news! There is now more choice coming to NYC! Dr. Kondzuilka is coming to NYU !!

In 2004, I interviewed 14 doctors and Dr. Kondzuilka and Dr. Sisti were in my top two choices that I consulted with for surgery in 2004 and then for Gamma Knife in 2012.

As you may not be aware Dr. Kondzuilka moved here just recently from UPMC where he built quite a reputation for himself (many years ago, he trained Dr.Sisti on Gamma Knife).

Am trying to schedule w/Dr. K in NY however their facility was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. He is doing GK at Hackensack and Nassau hospitals.
Has anyone been treated post Sandy and can advise how it went; I am leaning toward Hackensack due to newset GK equipment and proximity to city, etc.
