Carolina Ear / Dr John McElveen - a definite yes!!!
« on: January 13, 2010, 11:29:41 am »
has anyone had any experience with Dr John McElveen, of Carolina Ear?
he is based in Raleigh, N.C.
i know he travels to Asheville, N.C., Greenville, S.C., and Myrtle Beach, S.C. to see patients, and operate.
particularly, anyone have their AN removed by him IN Greenville, S.C.??
i will be meeting with him 1/20/10, and am ready to get the show on the road.

i have decided on surgery, and am predicting a middle fossa approach will be recommended.

anyway, any info will be much appreciated.
i 'searched' "mcelveen", and only came up with two minimal references, in LISA A 's thread about Dr FUkishima.

thanks,
Jesse

Well
Post op day 18, and doing GREAT.

My strong reccomendations for Dr. John McElveen, and his team.
Excellent work.

My 4 y.o. Daughter is fixing to get her THIRD set of tubes in her ears.
At the ENT visit today, my wife related my case to the ENT, a good guy who did her first two tubes.

His response was that, "To watch Dr. McElveen operate,. . . Is HUMBLING. And I [he] is pretty good."

overall I am exceedingly pleased with the outcome, (considering what it was).
And TOTALLY pleased with the team, and ALL the staff at Duke-Raleigh Hospital.

Aces,
Jesse
