Strange and curious.....hearing returned?

still have facial numbness and the top of my head is still real senstive...one year mark in august so maybe by then?  Still haven't heard from the ENT I'm sure he thinks I'm wacked  lol  I know he's in surgery today and was yesterday too....so I'll call the audiologist myself tomorrow to see what they say.

Hi batty princess,

I'm delighted to hear that you can hear that dial tone again.

I, too, can now hear a faint dial tone on my An side (i had fsr for treatment)and now one of the things i do every day is check if I can still hear it. (I can).I told my ENT also. I think we're both waiting to see if it stays lol....I've also noticed that sometimes i can hear the a/c even when i am lying on my good ear and the tv  and the stereo volume is also now turned down much lower. One evening i was euphoric when i realized that i could hear the music even tho it was turned really low and i was having a conversation on the phone with the receiver plastered to my good ear so i could hear the conversation lol. I figure i was hearing the music through my "bad" ear.

I'm thinking some of my hearing has come back.

Wind the a/c was the first thing I noticed I could hear while laying on my good ear )  so far I can still hear a faint phone dial tone.

No return call from ent today phyl (  Sinuses are really acting up too...Don't think I kept enough of the antibiotic in to do any good so broke down and got sinus thingy to see if I could get some relief.  I'm so so so so so sick of doctors!  And to think I wanted to marry one one day  LOL
