Baha surgery: a postie once again!
« on: August 18, 2009, 10:11:20 pm »
My Baha surgery was last week (two & one half months after my translab surgery). All went well! Whew!

And I'm so excited because in my closet (sealed in its box) is the BP100 processor, just sitting and waiting patiently until I've healed so that I can start using it in about three months!

Thanks for all your support.  Jan, your encouragement means so much.

Best,
Brenda

That's wonderful, Brenda! Glad to hear all went well.
I am expecting a call from my Dr. today to let me know when I can finally get my BP100. It's been a loooooong wait, although my choice because I wanted the upgrade.

Great news, Brenda - glad your surgery went well (I knew it would!)

I don't actually "make" trouble..just kind of attract it, fine tune it, and apply it in new and exciting ways

Brenda ~

Congratulations on a successful BAHA implant surgery!  The time will fly and soon, you'll be liberating that BP100 processor from it's box and enjoying everything it has to offer.  :)

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.
