Further results in on the Bio 30 trial (unoffical) for tumour suppression
If you recall there are about 56 NF2`s (worldwide) on a trial of propolis resin
a natural substance from New Zealand - made by bees
There are other trials but so far offically no cure for NF2 ?
Meanwhile Still looking quite good
We have 4 patients no growth 24mths (no other reason than the Bio)
We have 9 patients no growth 12mths
We have 12 patients - just too soon to say
1 patient showing (very) small shrinkage at 12mths
7-8 have dropped off the trial
8 showing slight growth
Now with NF2 12-18mths "no growth" is not unusual
but 24mths no growth is rather rare
fingers crossed

Tony, thanks a lot for posting this news. I've got a second tumor that I'm W&W-ing on. Would love to find out where I can buy Bio 30. Any ideas?

Is this trial open only to people with NF2? My second tumor is a hypoglossal schwannoma, not an AN. Can I get Bio 30 oustide of the trial, or is it unavailable through other channels? If available elsewhere, where?

I guess anyone can buy the Bio 30
and take it for any reason - its a commercially availiable (healthcare) product
I dont know if it will work for you
- its also in trial mode for NF1 and some cancers
- it is an unoffical trial - not really a drug as such
We are taking rather larger qty than the general popoulation
- and watching events
