Dry eyes seem to be a common complaint. I started using 4 grams of fish oil a day to reduce my cholesteral and my eyes are much better. I also supplement with 2 each of 50mg hyaluronic acid. I was thinking it was all in my head that it was working (isn't everything?) but I have experimented and it is definitely working for me. The dry eye is a hugh problem. When my eye is dry, I contract my cheek to half close my eye and then my face is even more out of shape. Hope this helps. Blessings, Cath

Hmmm ... I take fish oil .. but not even close to that dose... I'll up the amount a little and see what happens...

HMMmmmm - I take 2 grams of fish oil a day - are there any limits on amount taken? effects of too much?? The hyalurnoic acid is a new one on me - I geuss it helps dry eye? I'll have to check that out. A co-worker of mine with dry eye syndrome was told flaxseed oil. I told her I had heard fish oil is better, but she said the flaxseed helps with dry eye. Anyone know about flaxseed? Time for me to start googling these things....

I know about flaxseed oil.... it's a big booster in autoimmune stuff.... some people i know use it to prevent spread in rsd... i figure basically you are looking at an anti-oxidant picture etc..... from what I know it can't hurt, it might help.... but look at your total picture... had a longer comment but figured i'd keep it short here lol....
as a by the by, heart op surgeons have used vit C ( an antioxidant) to prevent things post op.....
antioxidants help keep us healthy (ier).....

ps: it's not for nothing that numerous studies are looking at oxygen factors in health issues
