Title: proton beam Studies
Post by: Mark on April 24, 2007, 08:04:35 pm
A question was asked on the CPSG board about Proton beam vs. GK and CK and Dr. Medbery referenced 3 different studies from Mass general , Loma Linda and Stanford ( I'm starting to wonder if there is a machine Stanford doesn't have  :) ). Generally favorable outcomes reported, although it appeared to me that there was a higher incidence of post treatment complications, particularly in the Mass General report. There are not a lot of studies on Proton beam so I thought this might be useful for those researching that option
