Title: Hearing Decibels
Post by: Dealy on March 27, 2007, 07:16:29 am
My wife got some women's day magazines from her sister last week so I was paging through one of them. Had a generic article on hearing. One topic talked about a rock concert can cause hearing loss in 7 minutes time. Even a vaccumm cleaner or sweeper has enough decibels that after continued use can comprimize hearing over time. I read in one of my medical books that anything over 120 decibels in continous use is considered a danger zone. I always where ear-muffs when exposed too loud sounds. I do not care how they look too other's. Protect what you have left or run ther risk off losing it. Ron

Hi Ron :)

I can cerainly understand your concern for your hearing.  Personally i would rather hear the decibels  and go deaf than not hear them :D  love my music, and love it LOUD!!!  :D
