Title: finally have a date

 ;D  YIPEE - we finally have a surgery date at House.  March 6th is the big day with Hitselberger and Friedmann.  My daughter (the one having surgery) is very excited  about going to LA!  Does anyone know if any airllines offer discount flights to those seeking medical treatment?

I don't know about discounts, but Southwest Airlines was very accommodating to me when I had my surgery and they let me board the plane first. I told them that I just had surgery and that I needed to be against a window so that no one would hit or bump me.

Dr. Hitselberger is really a great guy. I know that you will be happy with him! I wish you the best and please keep us posted.

hi hgtv... great news that you all got a date and can understand your daughter's enthusiasm to just get it done... you are in great hands with a great team.

I do some corporate travel arrangements (have for years). What area are you located?  Usually there are deals in and out of LAX (LA) but need to know surrounding available airports near you to help.

On my way home, they put me in a wheelchair and I boarded first ! (Jet Blue)

 :D  Thanks PPearl - I found some reasonably priced flights out of DFW, so I went ahead and booked.  Think I have all my ducks in a row now.
