Title: Actual doctor consultations
Post by: SteveWWD on December 11, 2006, 10:02:28 pm
My name is Steve and I am a 26 year old who just recently had an acoustic neuroma removed.  I had a 1.5 cm tumor, and it has been completely removed and I still have some hearing in the ear on the operated side.  My furstration in finding out information about younger people with acoustic neuroma and their experience has prompted me to create a website of my own experience.  Please take a look, I hope it is helpful to someone.  I have posted the actual doctor consultations that I went on.   It is http://www.myacousticneuroma.com/

Thanks.

Steve:

I visited your website and was very impressed.  Certainly worth a look for any AN patient. and younger folks will certainly relate to it, I'm sure.  Good job!

Hey Steve Sweet Site man! I wish I wouldve caught mine at your age! mine was probably your size when I was 26, but I didnt know I had one until 10 yrs later 36 and it was 5cm measured from IAC to the compressed side.

Excellent site! that pulsating animation of the tumor is pretty funny, looks like some Tom Clancy Video Game.
