Title: Anyone develop a lump behind ear on Translab side?
Post by: DZ on March 22, 2023, 09:18:29 am
Just wanted to ask if anyone else developed a soft non-painful lump behind the ear against the skull on the translabyrinthine surgical site side? I am about 6 months post op. Will see an MD soon but thought I would ask if anyone else developed this type of mass. Thanks!

I had mid-fossa, but I do have a lump/ridge sort of thing.  My doctor had prepared me for that.  I suspect it's just how and where the bone healed back?  I've had it for six years now with no issues.

Greece Lover - Thanks for the reply! - Good info but my growth is near, but not on the incision site. That is why I dont know if related to translab technique or not.  Will see!
