Hello, one year after the translab surgery, I have noticed twitching in my eye on the surgery side. Also, I have noticed that the eye has shrunk (grown smaller in shape) and looks and feels less alive and active. Please share any inputs or your experience! Thanks so much!

Your facial nerve has been preserved but maybe with some damages? That could be why you’re experiencing eye twitching problems as well as you have noticed that your eye looks and feels less alive. It sounds to me that your may have developed synkinesis? I’m actually facing the same challenges + many more due to lots of residues, following facial nerve compression. The signals from the nerve to the muscles around your eyes are distracted. As far as I know the only way to restore a better connection is to do neuromuscular retraining. Take a look at Jackie Diels facial training.
