Howdy folks. I (finally) had my one-year MRI this morning. It hasn't yet been interpreted by anyone "qualified" to do so, but I can definitely see dark areas inside of my AN. It looks kind of like someone crushed out a cigarette on it. Here's hoping that's pretty close to what happened. :D

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the "qualified people" see the same thing that you do.

Here's hoping you get the good news very soon...let us know if the experts agreed with your interpretation!

It sounds like good news in the very near future Kilroy - keep us posted. Crossing fingers.......
The MRI sound that does not agree with me is the real fast BAMBAMBAMBAMBAMBAMBAMBAMBAMBAMBAMBAMBAM.ÂÂ
Kachunk is the perfect way to describe that other sound.
Does anyone know why they must be so loud?

I don't know what makes the darn things make so many weird noises, I've often thought while in them, how on earth can a small child go through getting one. They must have to drug them.
Keeping fingers, arme, legs etc crossed for the powers that be to call Kilroy with the good news about the chocolate center.

The noise is due to the rising electrical current in the wires of the gradient magnets being opposed by the main magnetic field. The stronger the main field, the louder the gradient noise. (howstuffworks.com)
Still no word from the docs. Will advise.
