Title: Post radiotherapy and radio sensitizing agents down the track
Post by: mwatto on February 07, 2021, 10:04:24 pm
So I read this yesterday and it bothered me having had CK two years ago. I would love to hear comments on and also I wanted to share this list of natural radio sensitizers I found. I am hoping this might invite some discussion.

Hi mwatto,

I had GK six months ago and am about to have my first post treatment MRI in a couple of days.  My docs and I monitored the tumor's growth for about five years prior to treatment.   During that time I was aware that long time monitoring via MRI would be a standard practice following radiation.  The study from the University of Iowa substantiates the need for long term monitoring, based on their study of oxidative stress in VS cells.  I think most people who have radiation would be aware of necessary long-term follow-up monitoring, the length of which would vary from patient to patient.   Would you agree?
