Title: sleep
Post by: Rocky on March 08, 2019, 02:26:25 am
I had cyberknife surgery Jan 31, 2019. I am doing ok---at times my head feels a bit foggy and my memory slips sometimes. Maybe I am more irritable, it could just be anxiety. Ot I just feel like I am not going to take alot of sh*t anymore.
My current problem is falling asleep. I take an OTC sleeping pill- (Benadryl)--but it doesn't always help. I see that only a few people have written about sleep disorders. Perhaps this problem is not related to my AN or it's treatment?

Update June 1, 2019
I am doing better sleeping now!! I try not to take my electronics to bed with me!! I take a book!

I have issues when I am on the steroids which have been monthly and right now I am on week 3. I have to take a Tylenol PM or a mild sleeping pill from my doc to get to sleep.

Before & after surgery I was taking the steroids and they wrecked havoc with my sleep. I used benadryl sometimes, tylenol PM other times. I read a post from someone else recently who mentioned their mind was racing like crazy at nights for a few weeks after the cyberknife.

Would love to hear how it goes - i have cyberknife in the next few weeks.
