Title: Any support groups in Alabama

I have been diagnosed recently and live in west central Alabama. Is there a support group for AN in Alabama?

I think there's one in Mobile but there are many of us Alabamians on here.  :)

Hi musicmaker,
We do have a support group in the Mobile area. We have a new leader who is trying to get a meeting scheduled this month.

In the past We have met on Saturday for a Dutch treat lunch. Sometimes we have had a speaker and sometimes it’s just sharing and answering questions.

As Mac84 says there are quite a few Alabama folks on here. I have not checked in for quite some time myself,,,

There are three of us who meet once in a while. We will be happy to meet with you. This is a scary diagnosis with roller coaster emotions that go up and down.  We are all W & W. You can reach me at newsmom@gmail.com.

Sorry, I have taken so long to respond. Thank you for the invite.  I was invited to your last meeting but I live around 3 hours from Mobile and was unable to attend.
