Post by: extropy on April 06, 2018, 01:29:07 pm
By chance I've read these two papers about "mifepristone" and vestibular schwannomas. A promising drug? Maybe .....

"Their experiments [ at Massachusetts Eye and Ear ] showed that one drug in particular, mifepristone, was most effective. Treatment of vestibular schwannoma cells with mifepristone reduced their proliferation rate by 80 percent."

I spoke to Dr. Stankovic- she is going to let ANA know when they begin the patient trials. In the meantime, she gave me a blurb to summarize- it is our current blog post at the top of our home page: www.ANAUSA.org.
