Title: MRI results
Post by: lisab66 on August 17, 2016, 11:25:37 am
So my MRI results came today. My tumor is 2.3 x 1.8 x 2.0 and I probably shouldn't have read the findings. Obviously I don't understand everything, but freaked me out reading about all the parts being effected by the tumor :-(

You need the expertise of specialists to interpret the significance of your results and explain things for you.  It's a shame you appear to have seen them in isolation or perhaps you actually have been consulted and had everything explained?

I have already seen the surgeons and my surgery is scheduled. Reading the results was more anxiety provoking than talking to the surgeon.

lisabb66,

Even a year away from my surgery I can still really empathize with you as it relates to that initial shock from the AN diagnosis.  Disbelief. What is it?  The word tumor.  Brain surgery.  Etc Etc...

I can tell you that I had a very positive outcome thus far and believe you can too!

I wish you the very best outcomes on your journey!!!

size is only one factor of tumor removal the second is position, listen to your surgeon.
