Title: Will there be hearing problem after otoplasty surgery?
Post by: fannzromal on June 17, 2016, 04:27:06 am
I'm in my 50's (exact age is 56) and I'm considering otoplasty surgery from a clinic in Toronto (http://www.solomonfacialplastic.com/facial-plastic-surgery/otoplasty-surgery.php) for excessive ear protrusion due to shell ear. Am I too old? I really want to shorten my hair but my large ears become more noticeable if I do that. I'm really concerned about the downtime of the procedure. I know the cartilage changes over time and the healing will be too slow. I just wonder if there will be any hearing problem after the procedure? Any thoughts?
