here's a story about our local celebrity...with a 8th nerve meningioma....I watch her on the news here every night. She recovered from her second surgery, and the only thing you can really tell is that her speech is softer.

It makes it nice, being able to tell people about what I had, and be able to say, "you know, kind of like what Kathi Goertzen had". People around here understand what she had, so it clicks when I tell them I have something similar.

I often wondered how many celebrities or actors have our problem. Did Ruffalo loose his hearing?

Yes he did. Left side I believe. Had facial paralysis too.
