Hi All,
After gamma knife radiation in Sept '12, my balance was really bad. Physios helped a lot, exercises helped too, but I was left with a semi permanent headache that spiked to migraine level pain 3 or 4 times most day and very poor balances. Painkillers made it worse. Eventually I saw a consultant who wondered if I was having migraines caused by the radiation trauma. I do have migraines, but they didn't feel like this. Anyway, he sent a list of anti migraine medicine to my GP and suggested I try them. The first 4 made me quite ill, but the latest is Duloxetine and it's working very well. My balance is settled, I have been driving, which I couldn't attempt since the radiation, so I am a very happy bunny! If this strikes chord with anyone else, it may help. ☺

I am glad things are working out for you. Always good to see a positive on the forum, even if it took some time.
