Title: 15 month post GK

 Hello ANer friends,
I just had my second MRI since GK in July of 2015. The little bugger is still growing!

The 6 month MRI showed growth from 1.4 x 8 to 1.6 x 8. I know, swelling...right. Now after my one year MRI (which is actually one year and 3 months, Dr. Lunsford told me to hold until October) it is even bigger at 1.7 x 1.1!

I have seen some people report growth here after 6 month MRI and chalk it up to swelling (which I also did) but has anyone here seen evidence of continued swelling 15 months post GK? Most people report stable or even shrinkage after a year.

Anyone?

What did the Dr say, did he say it was growth?

Nothing so far from the doctor. I just picked up my discs yesterday after the MRI and sent to Dr. Lundsford iat UPMC. I will hear from Dr. Lundsford soon, I hope!
I will trust what he says, he is the best qualified to read the MRIs. I'll stay calm until I hear back from him. Thanks again. Cathy

For all we know all the swelling could have happened between month 6 and 7 and the tumour has been stable ever since. It's still early days. There is one person on this board who had a tumour that swelled for 4 1/2 years before it shrank.. Unusual yes, but it does happen.
I believe what is happening to your tumour is very typical.
