Title: Swooshing noise in non an ear
Post by: Janey on September 25, 2015, 09:45:40 pm
A few days ago I started to notice a swooshing noise in my non an ear.  It coincides with my heartbeat
and is sometimes quite loud.  It has been very worrisome, loudest at night and other quiet times, but
intermittent throughout the day.  I read some about pulsatile tinnitus on the Internet and plan to see about it if it does not stop soon.  Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar.

Hi Janey,

I only had that in my AN ear in the very beginning, 3 years ago. I now only have a soft sounding tinnitus. Still on W&W. Good luck in finding your answer.

I guess many of us have personal, peculiar sounds.  I have regular hissy tinnitus in my a.n. ear and this past week I detected a 'rumbling' sound in my 'good' ear, similar to the rumble of an HDD as may be heard from a PVR.  Thus far not loud or intrusive.

Fingers crossed for the future as with my other symptoms
