Well it took a while to obtain out of state insurance approval. As I speak we are Finally on our way to MGH for my son to see Dr Plotkin and Dr Barker. I am feeling so ill with anticipation. I have read amazing facts of Dr Plotkin. I hope I haven't set my hopes too high!

There just always seems to be an obstacle in the way. The insurance company says we have to get pre approval before every visit to MGH. Since this can take time, I am hoping it doesn't interfere with future appointments and treatment options of which I feel much more comfortable seeing the experts. The Dr in my network wanted to jump on Radiaton, but from what I have learned that's not the best treatment for a 17 year old. Why is insurance so difficult?
