Hello everyone I have not been on in a while. My last mri was three years ago, for about a month now on the same side as my acoustic neuroma surgery, left side which was 16 years ago I have been having a lot of tender pain around the surgery site, more pronounced very deep into the base of the skull same side, could this be regrowth related? could a regrowth grow enough in three years to cause pain. I do not seem to have other symptoms yet, shaky sometimes and very tired a lot. Anyone with regrowth issues that might have any info would be helpful. Thanks, Mel Dening

Could be anything. Could be nothing.
I suggest making an appointment with the neurosurgeon and get the condition evaluated ASAP.
