Title: Kaiser Northern California - need doctor referral
Post by: AN+EDS on May 31, 2013, 03:42:29 pm
The Kaiser Permanente (HMO) site does not make neurological surgeon profiles visible. I worry because I am in an HMO that they will try to man-handle me and force me to where they want to do surgery, and with whom. I'm willing to travel anywhere in CA. Hoping to stay in Northern CA.
Anyone dealt with Kaiser? Any hints?

Need a Neurologist in No. CA - preferably Sacramento area.

I had translab surgery with Drs. Cueva and Mostradimos in San Diego Kaiser last September and I would recommend them, they have experience with AN surgery and I felt confident putting my life in their hands.  I don't recall exactly, but I believe Kaiser has surgeons in Northern California that are Stanford trained doctors and experienced in this field.  I had confidence in my surgeons and did not research going outside the HMO, but that may also be a possibility. I am happy to provide more information about my surgery, just send me a PM.
