Title: Neurologist recommendation, Boston and south shore
Post by: stoneaxe on April 17, 2013, 09:36:28 am
As much as I have tried to ignore my headaches and other bothersome issues I think it's time to see a good neurologist. I haven't been impressed by those I've seen previously. God complex, arrogance, call it what you will, I'm not interested in someone that doesn't listen or actually seem to care.
I've managed to push through most of the problems but these headaches are starting to get the best of me. Anyone with good experiences with a caring neurologist in the Boston/south shore area or south coast down as far as Providence, RI.

Dr Barker was my neurosurgeon. I'm looking for a neurologist that understands Cervicogenic headaches. I was looking for Dr. Biondi who used to be at Spaulding but it looks like he's moved into the corporate pharma world. His paper here is what got me thinking all my recent headaches may not even be related to my AN. if I can find a combination of physical therapy that fixes this with minimal drugs it would be absolutely awesome....I hate taking drugs, the side effects of some have been almost worse than the disease.
