Title: 2 days post surgery

My son Oliver is spending his second day in the ICU. He got out of bed briefly today. Says he feels terrible.  He also realizes that so far he has avoided any complications. Naps are a good thing.

Great to hear that Oliver is in recovery.  Those first few days are pretty miserable, but he will start feeling better each day.  It is slow and small improvement, but improvement nonetheless.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a complication free hospital stay.  Napping will become a lifestyle for him for a few weeks, but being young, I would guess that he will bounce back quickly.
