The House AN people responded at last, and said they would consult with me by phone regarding my MRI results Wednesday evening.
I'm happy and frightened at the same time. I've had bad news in my life for some time now, and one of the most recent additions was the ambiguous, unhelpful, and expensive ENT that told me more or less nothing I didn't already know after I had the MRI. I am grateful I came here and was told to contact the people that I did. Hopefully, I'll get some answers.
Maybe, just maybe, it's not AN at all. But if it is, well, I won't be the first. If it is AN, it's a highly unusual kind: in the cochlea, only. Not on the nerve at all.
