Yes, I have them in my right eye.  I have serious cornea issues since the surgery in Nov. 2011.  They hold in the few tears I do make.  I think it has helped some but I still need to use lube or my cornea dries out.  The bottom one creeps out sometimes but my eye doc just pushes it down.  The other issue I have is sometimes my eye overflows so I need to keep a tissue close by.

I have plugs in all 4 tear ducts , in both eyes.  After trying everything else, it is the only thing that has prevent chronic keratisis. I still have dry eyes and have to use Genteal lubricant, but it is much better.

Yes, I had punctal plugs inserted in my right eye about a year post-op, and they've definitely helped. They make it possible to go longer between putting moisture drops in my eye.

Are they visible to others?
