I wanna do another Friday night Call with you Wenches and Scallywags (thanks for the word, headcase) like we usta! I miss your voices! I can't remember who set it up for us or how. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Anyone?

I'm game, but I'd like to do it on Saturday or Sunday, that way Kathleen and I get free cell minutes! I don't have a land line to buy a phone card.

I like the weekend too....I may still go get a card as I can hear everyone better on the landline, so I can do Friday's, but if we do weekends, we wouldn't have to have the east coast gals stay up so late. I will check up on the free conference call again and see if my number still works! I will let y'all know!

Weekend would be great--Dr Love and I like to go out on a date most Saturdays, but we are old fogies (pirate fogies!) and usually get home pretty early. An earlier call would be ok--we could kinda keep in touch during the week and find out what time works for everyone and not have a set time all the time.

This is a commercial. If you have high speed access to the computer you need to install Vonage. We have had it for two years and it is the best phone service ever. I pay $28.00 a month (includes all taxes) and get caller ID, call forwarding, call waiting, conference calling, long distance to anywhere in the US, Canada, Puerto Rico, England, France, Spain, and a couple other countries. It is awesome. If you want more info email me and I will put you on my referral list. I get a free month when someone signs up from my email.( You get your first month free also) I have gotten over a year free. If the elctricity goes out the calls are forwarded to my cell phone or any other number I choose. Check it out and we can all call anytime we like and not have to wait for free minutes.

I've had my head hung low from the headache monster, so I haven't checked yet on our old code but will later today (yeah, dial up...who wants to pay for faster speed when I can get that at work). Deb, what time Saturday is good for you?
Don't worry Deb, I'm bringing my camera when Laz gets here. Maybe we can find a way to do a call too. Will work out details on that!!!

I was telling my mom and son about philly today and they both chimed in at the same time and said, "I'd hate to do the seating arrangement for that dining group" ;D I told them anyone w/ a baha sits in the middle and translates :o)

OK kids, the old number and code still work....for you newbies, the phone number is (641) 297-4600 and the code is 647952# . The conference part is free, but if you don't have free minutes, get a phone card or something to get it as low cost as possible. When do you want to do it? Stick to the 7 pm pacific/10 pm eastern? It'd be nice to do it earlier, but I'm not sure if we can get that done today and I'm trying to avoid having the call during anyone's dinner.

I am really sorry I didn't make the call last night. I fell asleep and woke up this morning and remembered. Did you gals have a good time? I was looking forward to it. Maybe next time. I don't know if my opinion matters but maybe a little earlier would be good. I used to stay up til 11:30 or 12 but lately it has been 9:30. I guess I am just getting old. ;D I am kidding.

Hi you Guys,
I really wanted to talk!! We found out that my daughters boyfriend would propose last night, so his MOM and I decorated Jennifer's (daughter) apartment. We had a blast. White roses, champayne, candles everywhere!!!!!!
Maybe next week will be better to talk.....

I'm soooo sorry I missed you guys! I was not having a good day to begin with. Had to give myself a shot at the friggin hairdressers, he just wanted to gert me out of there as I sat in the chair and cried from this @#$%& headache and he ended up giving me the worst haircut of my LIFE! An inch longer on one side, so I ended up butchering myself further with Dr. Loves nose hair scissors. Well that turned out beautiful! Then I decided to make a batch of pesto from my overflowing basil garden (really stupid idea) and it took waaay longer than I thought and about 8:00 I was ready for another shot. Then I just decided $%#@^& this I'm just gonna leave this huge big mess and going to bed, which was the smartest thing I did all day. I've been sittin' in the pity pool for a while. Anyway, I slept through the call. I love the idea of making it earlier, for those of us here in the East with major fatigue problems, 10:00 is just too late! I'm absolutely dead and dysfunctional by then usually. Anyway, sorry I missed you guys!

I wore mine to the dentist the day Gennysmom had her surgery, and had a crown prep waaaaay back on my backest tooth--not easy when ya can't open yer mouth all the way due to MF approach!
My luverly dentist Carol, who is also my good friend, gave me my first Atavan. I kept looking down at those goofy lil skull and crossbones and getting the giggles!
Had the whole office crackin' up!

I missed the call. I went to my moms to eat chili and watch Chicken Little. I don't get out much as most of you know so it was good. I will do my best to make next weeks call, although my husband has mentioned he would like to go to the drive in movies next saturday. Don't worry I am trying to come to peace with things it is just going to take awhile. I have appreciated everyones support. I just go really slow at dealing with things. I am glad I have people as good as you to talk to. Hope you gals had fun on the phone.

Chicken Little was funny. I like trying to figure out who is talking for the characters.
Yes drive in movies are great. We haven't been this year. It is wierd how they have faded them out. I think it is great too that you don't have to worry about cell phones, people kicking your seat or siitting up straight for 2 hours.

I took my girls to a drive in movie, (saw cars' very funny) We have ONE drive in in Slat Lake City. They thought it was the greatest, had never been to on. I grew up with them. It would be nice to see them mak a come back. Fun to load up the car with blankets,pillows and snacks. Sit in camping chairs outside the car with your cooler. Yeah! now were talking.
It was nice talking with you gals on Sat. Hope everyone has a good week. Hope Cap'n Deb got rid of the headache Fairy.

Drive in's in Fl are so hot and full of bugs..I know they got rid of them here! Isn't there one in seattle somewhere? I know my son has said he's gone with my brother. FUN FUN FUN>...steaming up the windows LOL

Yes, there is one main one, 6 screens, not too far from where I work. There used to be tons of them around. I have vivid memories as a kid and an only child...in the 70's of mom and dad taking the Super Beetle and flipping down the back seat for me, filling it with pillows and blankets and I'd go in my pj's....and be fast asleep by the main feature.

I bet I'd look real threatening in my pink pirate shirt (that is way cool my neice kept asking if she was a nice pirate), my bandana, earing, neck dangly,eye patch and inflatable cutlass I'd be a forced to be reckoned with wouldn't I? I plan on outfitting my pirate princess car to pass out candy for halloween at the church trunk and treat festival. Aaaarrrrr!

Sorry I didn't make the call. It has been raining most of the weekend and i was too tired. I went to bed at 9:00am. I didn't even get to go to the drive in but maybe next weekend. My 9 yr wedding anniversary is coming up on October 4th. Maybe we can go the weekend after. Hope you gals had fun.
I am going to the eye doctor on tuesday to pick up an external eye weight they are going to let me try it out and then discuss surgery in the coming weeks. I am doing my best day by day to feel better about myself. I can't wait to get this patch off though. I'll keep in touch.

My tinnitus has not settled down since the call three weeks ago.....my brain did not know what to do with all the voices. My head was spinning even with all the voices in one spot - my good ear. To me, it was just as hard as trying to follow a conversation in a room full of people. Does anyone else have trouble on the Sat. Night Call? It was overwhelming but I shall try again!! Kathy
