Hi. I have a facial neuroma and my doctor is recommending gamma knife radiation for what is left of the tumor after I had translab surgery in May. From what I've read on this board, it doesn't seem the wise thing to do as it seems like radiation of the facial nerve would lead to facial paralysis. I'm trying to find out if anyone else who has/had a facial neuroma has had any kind of radiation and if so, what kind of radiation and what was the outcome.
