I had Cyberknife a 18 months ago at Stanford. I did 2 mri's and everything is fine. Do I need 1 mri a year or every 6 months thanks

that's a question for your doctor.
Most doctors have different philosophies about when their AN patients should have followup MRIs - regardless of whether they have radiation or surgery. Your doctor might not agree with someone else's doctor, so it's best you ask yours.

Hi Andy and welcome.
for me... I learned that each treating facility has different protocols for follow ups, esp. MRI's.
I had my post CK follow up MRI's at 6mos intervals until my 2 yr CK anniversary. I am now having them done 1x/year. Since I am entering my 4th year post CK, had my "annual" MRI last night... and will see what the dr says for the MRI timeframe when I see the team.
Hope this helps.. and again, welcome.
