Sounds like Phyl will be joining--yea!

P.S. Is anyone available to talk one-on-one during the day? I know it sounds needy--I admit it--but I could use some conversation during the long hours I am at home alone.

Ã‚Â I guess they have hotel and restaurant vouchers, movie tickets, and all kinds of fun stuff. Ã‚Â I sure hope it's as fun as I imagine it could be!!!

No lighthouse beacon!!! Everyone wants to bring huge spotlights, but I don't want to light stuff up so others will find it before me!!!!!!!!

I am a Monty Python Fanatic!!! My little 3 yr old Grandson and I play a game called "Monty Python!!"
Remember the "Ministry of Silly Walks?" Well, I yell "Monty Python" and he breaks into his best silly walk for a few seconds and then turns around a points at me and yells "Now You! and I break into my best silly walk for a few seconds and then yell "Now You!" and it just goes on and on. Pop ( Dr. Love) plays, too. Great physical therapy!

I need to stock up on some DVD's before surgery so I can laugh...but man, the Fawlty Towers series and such are so expensive! I love the episode where the German chef falls in love with Manuel.

I've always thought John Cleese to be a genius--I like the Mr. Bean stuff, too. Especiallt the one of him falling asleep in church, or the one where he takes himself out to dinner for his birthday, orders "steak tartare", realises it's raw meat and proceeds to try to hide it in the sugar bowl, under the table, etc. Also his picnic where he taked his banger out of the thermos and makes tea with the water!!

Getting ready for a visit from Mike and MaryJane Clayton tomorrow, fellow ANS* and hubby who I met via this place in its old format. We had our surgeries a few days apart at House--she was my main competition in the mashed potato eating contests. They are sailors and have spent the past year cruising the great Lakes, thru the Erie canal and ICW to North Carolina where they dry-docked their boat--are returning to Michigan for the summer and then will pick up Dragonquest and make their way to FL and Bahamas his winter.

I have a double date with a co-worker who I just found out had AN surgery 3 years ago with my Dr. The funny thing is, both his wife and my boyfriend work here too, so we all know each other. So all 4 of us are going. Crazily small world....especially since my city has just under 800 employees to have two of us here.

Janet, was that you that chimed in just before we actually got the call started? If anyone calls, and doesn't get us right away, try again. I didn't make it on till about 5 after, was running around getting ready to leave to go see the DaVinci Code. Talked while we were driving, then my other half was nice enough to do a little Su Do Ku in the car while I chatted.

He did get a huge case of the giggles though while we were talking...had to break wind and wondered how I'd explain that noise on the phone call. Luckily I didn't have to, he managed to maintain. Boys. Can't take 'em anywhere.

Just haven't been up to par lately. Few things on my mind and physically, I'm hanging in there. Been a rough ride the past 2 mos and I think most of it has finally caught up to me. Not sure if I shared before that when my mood gets like this, I tend to get quiet (get it on tape, gang!). So, if there are emails sitting there for me on my private email, let me apologize up front for not responding sooner... haven't touched email and such and just laying a bit low.
