Thanks.  Will have to remember to call me doc on the 3rd.

Maybe I should put that on the AN Calendar.

Here is a email I got off my other baha website. hope this helps you Jan and others.

just had an appointment with my ENT today and asked about the BP100 upgrade.
He was impressed that we knew so much about it already since he just got the
email from the Cochlear Americas this past weekend. He said that the fee to
upgrade will be $250 standard across the board for anyone who is already using
the Divino. Hope this helps.

Hi Mike

Wow! This sounds amazing.  I plan to send my doc an e-mail and ask him what he thinks of this.  Thanks for the information!!

Mike -

this is amazing.

My finances currently suck, but coming up with the $250 shouldn't be an issue.  I'll have to contact my doc's office.

Thanks for the info.,

the divino will fade out to the BP100.

Hope Cochlear doesn't use that terminology (fade out) in their marketing of the BP100.

A hearing aid that "fades out" doesn't sounds very promising!  :D

My doctor called me today to let me know I qualify for the upgrade to the BP100!
Mike was right about the $250 extra cost, but the Dr. told me he believes it is really worth the cost and the wait. "It's quite a device", he said.
He told me I should b able to get it mid-August!

Have had contact with my neurotologist, who's had contact with Cochlear about the upgrade - but he did not receive a lot of specific details regarding cost for current Divino users.  He also mentioned that he's heard of the Ponto (Oticon's device which will be coming out in October).

He said he'd have more details on both the BP100 and the Ponto at the symposium.

Anxious to hear what he has to say.
