Hi folks
Has anyone ever heard of an AN being 8cm, I purchased a book the other day (Love Has No Limits) and the story has been written by the wife of a 29 year old diagnosed with an 8cm AN in April 1997 in Wollongong NSW Australia. The story is about her journey supporting her then fiancée and now husband through his ordeal after being diagnosed with a large Acoustic Neuroma.

Yes, I have. I believe that is really close to the size a sports writer from Texas had and he is doing great. I'll have to pick up that book.

Our very own Satman had an AN that was 8 cm.
So it does happen.

Satman is the only one I am aware of that size... although many here have come fairly close (definately over 5cm).

This guy had a very difficult recovery having numerous operations to deal with "fluid on the brain" and he has left sided paralysis, however; the book states that he literally was fighting for his life after diagnosis because the tumor was so entangled around tthe brain stem that he is lucky with his outcomes. I am still reading.
Wishing you a good day.
