I had my fourth annual, twelfth actual MRI last week. My NF2 has not changed in size (very good thing) and no residual on the AN side. I am very happy with the results. No more MRI's for this for another year....best news yet!!
Now, it is Brian's turn for great results, but with an attitude as great as his, they have to be good!

Good to hear of the good news Brendalu. I have lost track of how many MRIs I have had. Somewhere around that. Not my favorite thing to do. The not knowing when there can be growth and then what, is very hard and nerve wracking.
You have had more than enough health problems already so wish you no big problems in the future.

Brenda ~
Congratulations on another 'clear' MRI scan! I'm very happy for you, today. :)
Lisa ~ ANs can re-grow, and an MRI is the best way to keep on top of that possibility. Still, at your age, if future MRI scans are 'clear', you might decide to stop having them at some point. I can't imagine medical insurance would pay for an MRI 30 years after your surgery. I would ask your doctor about this.

Thank you all..............I feel very blessed and have such a different attitude than I did a few short years ago. Oh how lives change and attitudes do too. (A very good thing I might add)
