Bad bad times that I hope to forget soon....the first 28 hours of constant pain and nausea and the next 4 days just trying to get some of my senses back again. I am back to the in laws today and my follow up is in a week. A little rough with the road conditions getting out of NYC today but we made it. So happy to see my 2 year old daughter. Talk to you all soon

Hang in there ..... you should soon begin to rapidly feel better. The first week after any kind of major surgery is rough.

It DOES get better. The first week is the worse. Get lots of rest and take your walks when you can. You're through the worst.

Glad you've made it past the first few days.... Being back with your daughter will be the best medicine!!! Don't take things too quickly, rest when you can, and be patient with yourself. It gets nothing but better with time. Take good care!

glad to have you back ;D
As others have said, the first couple of days are generally the worst. Now that you are home you should made progress every day. Sometimes the progress will be extremely slow, and some days you might have setbacks, but don't lose heart. You've been through a major surgery and it takes time to recover, but you'll get there.
Get lots of rest,
Jan

Hi Patty! Glad to see you are back and now you are a postie!
I remember thinking some similar thoughts (although not like having brain surgery!) after my first C-Section...
Sounds like you are thru the worst of it!
My thoughts and prayers are with you for a speedy recovery.
Sincerely,
Sue

Glad to hear you aren the road to recovery. Baby steps -- and the AN recovery is a lesson in patience. Rest and recover at your own pace.

Hi, Patty ~
Welcome back, 'postie'! From this point on, every day will probably be a little bit better. Soon, this will all be a memory - and little more. Rest, stay positive - and stay in touch. :)
