SRY I do not think there is caption for this. I looked up on their site to see if it was on their site but it is not. :-[

Thanks for the link. Very concise description of the BAHA - by a doctor. The photos are excellent. This is genuinely informative - and appreciated.

thanks for the link. I had no idea this was out there - but I don't frequent youtube very often ::)
This information will be very helpful for those unfamiliar with the BAHA. I have never heard of Dr. Redleaf - but it sounds like she definitely knows her stuff. Interesting hair, though :D

Just watched it - very informative, thanks.
I'm with Jan, what's with the hair? If she colored it blue or red, I would swear one of her parents was a parrot. Oh, that wasn't nice. I'm sorry.

I thought the hair was funny to ;D

I first I thought she had a mohawk :D

ditto on the mohawk. i think it was a combed down version, but nontheless, great info.

Now I am going to have to go just to see the hair!! :o

Very interesting. I don't have SSD but was curious how it worked. Thanks.

FYI......the hairdo is called a "faux hawk". Two of my sons have been sporting the do since last summer. It is very popular with soccer players.
Question about the screw in the skull, is it titanium or surgical steel?

I'm not sure, but based on everything else we implant in our operating room, i'd say titanium. "faux Hawk" huh? cute.

Anne Marie -
thanks for the name of the hairdo - I had no idea what it was.
The screw in the skull is titanium. Most medical "parts" are these days. My dad has had 3 titanium hips (1 wore out and had to be replaced) and my mom just got some titanium rods put in her back last week.
One of the nice things about the titanium is that you can still have MRIs with it in your skull. Kind of a requirement for AN patients everywhere ;)
