This weeks adjective comes from Sara (Saralynn143) a second time contributor. She offered this for two reasons -- the fuzzy-headedness that we all seem to encounter with ANs and in honor of all the fuzzy hats flying off Steve's knitting needles. So fuzzy it is.
It's a mixed bag this week.
Starting off Monday is OMG16, son's fourth AN anniversary, who I believe, along with Taylor and Chelsa are the youngest ANers on the Forum. Congratulations. It's been a long road.
Then, Debbie, (oHIo) has her 1st year encounter with the Tube o' Gloom. Good luck Debbie -- may it be unremarkable.
And on Monday, Joe (Joeelmo79) is having surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina. Best wishes for a great surgery, Joe and a quick recovery.
Then on Wenesday, Anissa from Idaho, is having a Translab at the University of Utah (that is if the runny nose didn't turn out to be an issue). Have a great surgery, Anissa, and get as much rest as you can.
And while it isn't on the calendar, I have a consultation with the Audiology Department at House to see if there is something I can do about the little hearing I have left -- and to at least have my hearing aid adjusted properly (Grrrr).
Next on Friday, Phyl (ppearl214) is celebrating her 3rd year CK anniversary -- a very successful one. Congratulations, Phyl.
Also on Friday, another Tube o' Gloomer, Sue (Suboo) is having her 6 month MRI. And may yours be unremarkable as well, Sue.
And finally on Friday, Wendy (Wendysig) is finally going to hear! After what seems to be several months, at last, she will be able to use her BAHA processor. May the wait be well worth it Wendy.
And that's it for this week. Have a great one.

I've been wondering all day what the word of the week was going to be for "my" week, and fuzzy it is! I like it!
Best wishes on all the anniversaries, tube-o-gloom visits, BAHA (its FINALLY here, YAY!!), Davids House visit, and Joe's surgery.
I am blessed beyond measure for you fine folks and I honestly don't know what I would have done without your support and love over the last few weeks. So, with that said...Lets Roll. ;D

Thanks for the weekly update.
God speed to you Anissa this week.
let's keep Liz in WA in our prayers for a successful second surgery on Tuesday.
She is near and dear to me- we had the same surgeon. He is an exceptional surgeon and we both just had complicated AN's.

Moe -- what happened to Liz? That slipped by me. My best to Liz.

I found the thread. Best wishes to Liz in Tacoma on Tuesday for stopping the CFS leak. Her second surgery in a week.

I think they are going after some additional tumor left behind on the first pass. My very best wishes for Liz as well.
It just so happens I was thinking about possible 100,000 post improvements we could make to the forum, and it occurred to me that in addition to the fine summary of the week ahead that you write, we could use a summary of the week just completed as well. Something that would help us not miss developments like Liz had.
Know any gifted writers who might be interested? ::)

I'm Chris (Anissa's husband) and I too would like to wish everyone well this week. It sure is a busy week and I will be praying for everyone to have good results. I'm new around here but the support system is awesome and everyone is so helpful and thoughtful. Best wishes to all and especially you Anissa my dear wife -- I love you!!

Best wishes and Good Luck all.

Extra prayers going out to Joe, Anissa, and Liz as they all have surgeries this week.
Prayers are going out to Debbie and Sue in the hopes for unremarkable MRI's.
David, I don't know the full story of your hearing, but hope there is something that can be done to improve it!
Happy anniversaries to OMG16's son and Phyl!
Wendy, we are looking forward to a full report on how much you like your BAHA! Be sure to test it in a noisy place or two for me :).
Also, I believe Becky (Microsoftfree) and Whitney (Bambi81) are expecting MRI results this week. I will pray that your MRI's are clean and tumor free.

Anissa, and Joe -- wishing you the best for wonderful surgical outcomes. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Liz - I hope this is the end of your problems
Phyl -- Congratulations and Happy Three Year CK Anniversary!!
OMG16 -- Wishing your son well on his 4th ANniversary!
Sue and Debbi - Hope your MRIs are clean!
David -- Good luck with your appointment at House, I hope they can help or at the very least, adjust your hearing aid properly. Thanks for the usual great update.
As for me -- Thanks to all of you for your well wishes. Because I already have the processor in my possession this week will be especially hard. I've been playing with it a lot and familiarising myself with it as much as I can without actually putting it on. I've been really tempted to pop in a battery and try the test rod it comes with, but I'm afraid I won't be able to stop there. Rob said if I don't leave the darned thing alone he is going to tell on me by sending Dr. Choe an e-mail. What a tattle tail!! :D :D THIS is why most docs don't let you have the processor in advance of your BAHA gotcha day! ;D ;D I will wait until I see Dr. Choe on Friday, I will wait until I see Dr. Choe on Friday.... ;D ;D ;D ;D

I too hope all goes well with Anissa and Liz.
I guess Joe's getting his surgery now.
Anyone ever hear again from Tracy, the guy who wrote on Friday and was really anxious? Wondering how he's doing.
Good week to all!

Thanks for all of the well wishes. It's been a fuzzy year for me for sure. I'll post more later about all of the happenings over the last several weeks, but wanted everyone to know my MRI was clean. That's one step in the right direction. I saw the neurosurgeon and neurotologist and don't have to go back to anyone for two years...three for the MRI. I honestly can say it is a relief to not have to go back for a while. I have seen more doctors in the past year than I ever care to again. Glad to be done for a while.
Good luck to everyone else. I'll post more later in the week.

So so happy for you Debbie, for both the clean MRI and for the Dr. free two years! ;D

wellness wishes to you all that are having treatments this week... and for those in follow up... (Debbie, congrats!), "onward and upward"... and for those having anniversaries this week... well, a terrific reason to partake in a mug o' grog! Congrats!
(and thank you for the wishes as well! Time to celebrate in my house! It's been a long road but for me, well traveled and worth it!)
