Phyl's been buggin' me  ;) so I set up a baby pool.  Feel free to participate if you like!  I'll certainly post when there's any news!

Katie -

I had no idea you could do something like this; very clever and cute  8)

I'm going with a girl.  Not that I don't like boys, but I figure after two of them it's time for a chance.

So, if I win, do I get to be an honorary aunt like Phyl?

Okay, my guess is the day and time I walk into Mass General for my translab, barring further delays, to be operated on the same team as my hero Katie.

Funny...when I first saw "OT: baby pool", I thought of a tiny round swimming pool for a baby, that perhaps was going to have some use for vestibular exercises :)

How fun!        I said boy as I know too many people lately who had their 3rd boy but I do really hope it is a girl for you!       Which ever sex it is though. it will try to keep up with 2 big brothers.

Keeping in mind that I am always wrong on these baby predictions (I always did much better at the football pool), I'm going to say.....

a boy.  I don't know your due date, but I'm going to say it will be on a Tuesday.  And he'll weigh in at 7lbs, 8oz.  Brown hair.

So you can probably safely assume you will have a little redheaded girl on a Friday!   :D

We do not know if it's a boy or girl.  We didn't find out the first two times, and I didn't want to do it differently this last time!  LOL!

My first was born a redhead (and he still is at almost 7) and it shocked the heck out of us!!!  (I'm blonde, hubby is dark brown)  My second is a bright blond.  Maybe we'll get a brunette now to round out the mix!   :D

I too though of a small round swimming pool (the plastic kind), but didn't think about vestibular exercise possibilities at all.

Maybe you're on to something, Ernie  :D

Oooo, I wanna play too!   I put in the same time that my son was born, just for fun.

I'm going for "my three sons".

Sue in Vancouver USA

PS  A neighbor, years ago, had a baby boy with lots of curly red hair.  She said the first words out of her mouth when she saw him was, Where did YOU come from?!  Then her husband said, oh, yeah, I think my grandmother had red hair.  He was of Scottish descent, so it goes with the territory, I think.

Katie,

I'm hoping for a girl, but I said boy to cover all bases.  I also used the same time as when my daughter was born.  Best of luck and  can't wait to see the pictures.

  Take care.

My monitor is going out and it's in flicker mode much of the time. I thought the topic was "baby poo!" which is indeed OT.

I need to contemplate this a while before I enter the pool. Is there a prize?

If there is baby poo in the baby pool, then yes, contemplating that before getting in the pool would be wise.  ;D

A night out.

That's what you and the hubby used to do before you had those adorable children.

Never fear though, you'll get back to that one of these days - like around the time they all go off to college  ;)

In the meantime, enjoy every minute of their childhood.  As I'm sure you already know, they grow up too fast.

As for the hair color, my hair is brown, my husbands was blond then turned light brown.  1st son is red headed, 2nd blond.  The red hair wasn't a surprise as my brother is a red head, oldest sister has auburn hair and other sister is blond then there's me with brown hair.  I'm guessing that somewhere along the line there's a few red heads in your family.  I have an Aunt that had red hair and all her children were red heads at one point.  I had 2 boys, wanted a girl but quit having children during the 80's recession so I'm hoping for a girl for you, but then again, aren't boys great!  Jill

Just as an aside, Marci.. small baby doesn't equal petite woman.  My daughter was born 10 lbs 2 oz..  a HUGE baby, but if you looked at her now (3rd grade) she is one of the smallest and petite in her grade level.  Ironically, my son was 10 lbs 8.5 oz at birth..  I'm thinking linebacker for him if he stays growing the way that he is (and keeps his temperment).  ;)

I almost chose April 1st too, but I wasn't sure if anyone consciously picks April Fools Day as a birthday if they can get around it  ;)

When I was pregnant with my twins the ultrasound tech was telling me how lots of other moms were desperately trying to avoid Leap Day.  I told her that I thought it would be kind of cool to only have a birthday every four years.  She laughed and said "You're having twins.  Twins are always early.  You'll never last that long."

I lasted 39 weeks.  The rest is history  ;D

As long as it is healthy, it really doesn't matter.

Hi Katie,

Couldn't help but chuckle as I read the first two lines of your sig...

Mostly Stay-At-Home-Mom to two fantastic boys (almost 7 and 4), and baby #3 due in early April
diagnosed June 2005

Almost sounds like you were diagnosed with baby #3 in June of 2005!   :D

Kate -

I guessed a girl because I know how much I enjoy my girls and figured she would be  smaller than the boys were.  As for the date, I had c-secsions so I don't know when they would have been born naturally, but they're late for everything.

Best wishes,
Wendy

For some reason, I can't navigate anywhere on the baby pool webpage, but thought I'd throw my guess in here.

Wishing you the best!

okay. I want to play. Few questions first. What type foods did you crave.....sour or sweet?
Morning sickness? Severe?
Belly like a watermelon or basketball?
Carrying high or low?
Heartbeat of baby above 140?
I want to make a good guess.
oh yeah. How big where the other babies?

Brian

my 8lb 12 oz son turned into a 6'2" man weighing about 170 lbs while my 4 pound twins are also but
weigh in at around 215lbs

my 7 pound girl is 5 foot and 106lbs ...her waist and that of her skinny brother are the same :o

then 9lb 4 oz Sarah is the smallest in her 4th grade class ... she has been the smallest all trough school...

we don't know where my oldest son came from ...he has red hair was 7 and a half pounds ...now only 5'5"
and about 200 lbs ... he isn't fat ..shoulders broad and short waisted with thick trunk ...I think he may be a
big leprechaun... he looks like my cousin ... in build and hair color... all the rest of my kids have the same
medium brown hair color

I voted th other day but forgot what my vote was ...

I have found that once I have mine in hand they are exactly what I wanted even if before I had them I
wanted the other kind ...never found out what any were before their arrival..I like surprises

I've always been all about the sweets.  Morning sickness has gotten worse with each pregnancy, but still not severe this time.  Baby's heartbeat is 150s.  My first was 7lbs 13 oz at 40 weeks and my second was 9lb 11oz at 38.5 weeks.  As for how I'm carrying, I truly cannot judge.  This baby still flips around from sideways to up/down and jumps all over the place.  My shape changes dramatically day to day!

SHE'S HEREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

email I received, so I can share with you all!

Hello everyone,

Katie and Brett are very pleased to announce the addition of Audrey
Celeste Bonner to our family.  She arrived this morning, April 6, at
8:09 AM, weighing 8 pounds, 10 ounces and 20-1/2" long.  Mom and baby
are both healthy and doing great.  Elliot and Jonah have already met
their baby sister, and Elliot has pronounced her "kind of cute" and
"really small".  Jonah guessed that she weighed "zero pounds".  Mom
and Dad are now searching for the instruction book for the "girl"
model, since they only have prior experience with the "boy" model.

For those wishing to see pictures, please have a look at:

http://www.andyradin.com/gallery/7828518_qVZqp

(Thanks to Katie's brother, Andy Radin, for the wonderful photos and
the web posting.)

YEA - IT'S A GIRL!!  You know I am kind of partial to girlies!!  I think that you will find that "indoor plumbing" is much easier to maintain!!  We were always scared about the "outdoor plumbing" model!!   ;D  Call me if you want to talk girlies!  Ernie is right, girlies are MUCH more expensive - when we had our 3rd (we never found out either), we were going to put on the announcement "send money now for the wedding fund" but we were afraid someone would take us seriously!!  Girls are SO fun!!

CONGRATULATIONS!

Hey, wait a minute I want a recount, Phyl!  Are we going by weight, length, time or date?  Although I was off on the date and time, I was right on with the sex and weight, and within 1/2 an inch of the length.  Doesn't that make me the winner  ???  LOL

Congratulations to you, Katie!  The baby is beautiful - love her name, too.  You both look great!  I just knew you'd have a girl  ;D

Thank you everyone!  Audrey and I are at home now and doing really well.  Her older brothers are very excited to have her home and want to show her everything!

According to the ExpectNet site, Phyl is the official winner!  Congratulations, Phyl!  Mary in Leominster came in second and Nancy in Long Island rounded out 3rd.

Yours in tiredness,
Katie

Oh, Katie, she is absolutely beautiful!  I just want to kiss those chubby little cheeks!  She's just perfect!

I'm so glad you are both doing well and I know her big brothers are going to spoil her and be good protectors for her.  She will have them wrapped around her pretty little finger in no time, I'm sure.

I hope you get some rest.  Enjoy your new addition.

Lori

Katie and Brett,

Congratulations on your wee wenchette!!!  What an adorable little cutie and how lucky for her to have 2 big brothers to watch out for her. Great picture of Audrey and Katie together on the website. Popping a bottle of cyber-bubbly for ya!!

Oh Katie, two boys and now a girl.....you are so lucky my friend.  I only know about the boys and all the trouble they cause ;)  Audrey is such a beautiful name.  Take care of your little princess.  I'm hoping one day to a have a little princess granddaughter....but my sons know the rules, marriage first...with all of my fingers and toes crossed!
ENJOY, kiss her little feet for me.  I love babies feet.  :-*
