Title: necrosis of the skin with GK,CK??

Is there a link between the GK,CK treatment with getting necrosis of the skin afterwards?? Has anyone had this happen?? Greg

Not that I know of. Some have said they got a little bald spot for a while, and someone reported a red spot once, but that is all I've ever heard about.

Greg,  I have had scarring and pitting of my facial skin since GK.  I am told it is extremely rare.  I am just curious why you asked.  Has someone mentioned this to you as a possible post radiation problem?

Windy, I read a post by someone in the achives who has had severe necrosis of the skin after there gk but they had other tumor related things going on. It was all over there body. I was praying that this is an abnormal condition. And I hope that person is doing o.k. Greg

Thank you for your response Greg.  I hate to hear of such as sad medical case as that person experienced.  I would think they had more complications going on than just a GK issue.  I would definitely think it was not the norm!
