Hurrah, Just had my PICC line removed, that's 4 hour's of my day back ;D

Yay! Hooray for no PICC line!! Kay and I can certainly relate to the joy of being picc-less.
BTW, a PICC line is a Peripherally Inserted Cardiac Catheter - it's a way for the patient to administer their own IV drip at home. It is used for people on a long course of IV antibiotics or other meds. Similar to a port that many cancer patients use for chemo. Not a club you want to join!
